The English Department at the David Yellin College of Education has three major goals:

1 - To prepare future teachers (BEd) for the challenge of Teaching English as an Additional Language (TEAL). 2 -To give the general student population the tools for reading and understanding academic material in the English Language (EAP). 3 - To offer a variety of special In-service /Hasavot programs for those interested in entering or achieving certification in the exciting field of Teaching English as an Additional Language (TEAL).
